We’ll collect a few essentials to ensure we match you with the perfect property: your move-in date, household size, monthly budget, and any support needs (benefits or guarantors). This information helps us streamline viewings and avoid delays later in the process.

Viewings & Selection

Once we understand your criteria, we’ll arrange viewings at times that suit you. During each visit, feel free to ask questions about the neighbourhood, transport links, or local amenities—our experts know Slough inside out.

Securing Your New Home

When you find “the one,” you’ll pay a holding deposit (equivalent to one week’s rent) to reserve the property while we conduct referencing and Right-to-Rent checks. Upon approval, you’ll transfer a security deposit (up to five weeks’ rent), held securely in a government-backed scheme.

Let Agreed & Tenancy Agreement

Once referencing is approved, we’ll confirm your tenancy as “Let Agreed” and prepare your Tenancy Agreement. You’ll have the opportunity to review every clause before signing. Both you and the landlord will receive a fully executed copy.

Inventory & Condition Report

Step 7

Prior to move-in, a professional inventory clerk will catalog the property’s condition and contents. You’ll receive a copy to review—this report protects your deposit by ensuring fairness at the end of your tenancy.

Move-In Day & Beyond

On the big day, collect your keys from our office or directly at the property. Congratulations—you’re officially a tenant with Apex! During your tenancy, our team remains on hand for any maintenance requests, advice, or simply to check in.
